In the coming years, unprecedented amounts of clean energy resources will be needed to achieve state goals while also meeting increased demand for electricity. ISO New England publishes their Regional Electricity Outlook (REO) each year to provide a comprehensive look at how their extraordinary workforce is striving to ensure New England’s electrical grid is prepared to provide the region with clean, dependable, cost-effective electricity today—and throughout the transition to a clean energy future. For 16 years, we have brought the REO to life, designing it to be readable and understandable. The 2024 REO is the first digital iteration.
